Refund & Cancellation Policy

KCS Fibernet (Konark Cable System OPC Private Limited)

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and disconnections are handled by KCS Fibernet for its broadband and related services.


1. Cancellation Policy

a) Before Installation

  • Customers may cancel their request before installation by contacting our support team
  • Any advance payment (if applicable) may be refunded after deduction of processing charges

b) After Installation / Activation

  • Once the service is installed and activated, cancellation requests will not be eligible for refund
  • Customers can request disconnection, but no refund will be provided for unused service duration

2. Refund Policy

  • Installation and activation charges are strictly non-refundable
  • Prepaid plan charges are non-refundable, either fully or partially
  • No refund will be provided for:
    • Partial usage of plans
    • Change of mind after activation
    • Relocation where service is not feasible

3. Service Non-Feasibility

  • If installation is not feasible from our end, any amount paid (excluding survey/processing charges, if any) will be refunded
  • Refund will be processed within 7–10 working days

4. Technical Issues & Downtime

  • Temporary service interruptions may occur due to:
    • Maintenance activities
    • Fiber cuts or external damages
    • Power failures or natural events
  • Such interruptions do not qualify for refunds
  • In exceptional cases, compensation (if any) will be provided at the sole discretion of the Company

5. Equipment Refund / Return

  • If any equipment (ONU/Router) is provided on rental basis:
    • It must be returned in good condition at the time of disconnection
    • Any damage or non-return will result in applicable charges
  • If equipment is purchased, it is non-refundable

6. Security Deposit (If Applicable)

  • Refundable security deposits (if collected) will be returned:
    • After service disconnection
    • Upon return of company equipment in good condition
  • Any damages or dues will be adjusted before refund

7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed via:
    • Original payment method, or
    • Bank transfer
  • Processing time: 7–15 working days depending on payment mode

8. Fraudulent or Misuse Cases

  • No refund will be issued if:
    • The service is used for illegal or unauthorized activities
    • There is violation of Terms & Conditions
  • The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate such services immediately

9. Changes to Policy

KCS Fibernet reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Updates will be posted on the website.
